Labour Party complains to Electoral Commission over people not being allowed to enroll at voting stations

On top of yesterday’s news that complaints were being made over the disenfranchisement of Māori voters, today the Labour Party shared that they had complained to the Electoral Commission over people not being allowed to enroll at early voting stations.

Labour’s General Secretary, Andrew Kirton, says that the polling stations the reports come from are in Northcote (Auckland) and Bethlehem (near Tauranga).

It’s not known if the two sets of complaints are related.
